Imo State’s largest citizens-owned pressure group proudly announces endorsement of Peter Gregory Obi for President

Imo Concerned Citizens proudly stands for the more than 5 million citizens of Imo State who seek good governance and development.

This year, for the first time, Imo Concerned Citizens Imo State chapter is proud to make our first ever endorsement for president—Peter Gregory Obi.

Frankly, this was an easy decision. From our perspective, there’s no other choice.

As Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi ensured that the interests of his people were protected, the Anambra state economy was red hot, the people were assured of their security, the neighborhoods were safe, education was given it's place in the society and industrialisation was given the enabling environment.

We cannot afford another four years of failed policies of the APC that have led to the inflation crisis, security crisis, and crime crisis.

It is time for Nigerians to unite around the most popular Politicial Heavyweight as far as the ordinary citizens are concerned, who has a proven track record of purposeful and progressive governance.

Poll after poll shows that Peter Obi would defeat any challenger by massive margins, when the election are held.

Former Governor Peter Obi has always put the ordinary citizens of Nigeria first, and We look forward to supporting him so we can create a new Nigeria that will serve the interest of all citizens and not just a few.
