Now that the Tribunal judgement and the euphoria that accompanied it is over, it is back to work for our elected officials and their team.
There is a lot of work to be done in Imo State and the authorities should fold their sleeves and get to work without further delays.
The roads have remained so bad and the excuse of the rainy season no longer holds. There are emergency repairs that can be done to enable motorists and road users easily commute to their destinations. Our cars have taken abode at mechanic workshops due to bad roads.
Also the emergence of refuse dumps have continued to rise unabated. During the last administration, the sanitation team was going around daily to clear refuse dumps around the City of Owerri but it seems this administration is leaving it for selected periods. The town is turning into an eyesore and Owerri prides itself on cleanliness and this should be looked into as a matter of urgency.

There are a lot of issues that needs to be addressed and the government authorities should do what is needed to take the state to a new level.
I remain,
Hon. Roland Gabriel
Co-Convener/State Chairman,
Imo Concerned Citizens.
