ROCHAS OKOROCHA VS NDI IMO

90% Equity Share of the Eastern Palm University to the Trustees of Rochas Foundation (obviously Rochas Okorocha and Children) while Imo State gets 10%. This is according to reports that then Imo State House of Assembly passed a law alloting the 90% shares to the  Rochas' Foundation .

This is one of the blunders of the Acho Ihim's led Imo State House of Assembly. The man, Acho Ihim should reflect on some of his fraudulent and reckless actions when he held sway as the Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly by allowing Rochas Okorocha to mortgage Imo and its assets.

I have never seen a  thing like this elsewhere in Nigeria that a State Governor will use State funds to acquire lands, built structures and even got the license for the said institution from the NUC as a State University, then turn around and convert it to private ownership. Chineke ekwela ihe ojo ooo🙆‍♂🙆‍♂🙆‍♂

The NUC has made it clear there was no PPP arrangement in the establishment of East Palm University. It was licensed and  registered as a State University. It baffles me the way and manner Rochas Okorocha confiscated and converted major assets of the State Government to family ownership. What is even worrisome is the boldness of the Okorochas despite overwhelming evidences of their theft.

The mind boggling revelations of Rochas Okorocha's impunity while he held sway as the Governor of Imo State is shameful and embarrassing. If not, how  can any reasonable Governor spend a whopping Seven Hundred Million Naira on the useless Akachi Tower while most of  the roads in Owerri Metropolis are dilapidated? Indeed, Rochas Okorocha was a big mistake by Ndi Imo and anything like him should not be repeated again for the interest and prosperity  of the good people of the State.

A Governor who will not build strong and quality roads for his people, but spent 4.3 Billion Naira on a Police Station project. A misplaced priority of the highest order; spending Billions of Imo money on what should be a Federal Government Project meanwhile State's infrastructures are decaying.

As a matter of fact, the present Imo State Government should not leave any stone unturned in making sure that Rochas Okorocha gives proper account of his stewardship to the good people of Imo State.

Just A Similar Case Of Abacha Loot
